I can't believe October 1st begins on Wednesday. The leaves are beginning to turn here and fall is definitely in the air. Halloween candy is on sale where ever I go. All signs are pointing towards Butterball's birthday.
We are in the midst of week 36 and Butterball's kidneys and liver should be completely developed by this point. He is definitely working more and more on his motor skills and becoming increasingly annoyed by the presence of my ribs near his home. I know this from his constant kicking and pushing at them.
I fear there is going to be nothing glamorous about this last month of pregnancy. I wake up feeling good, but then by the afternoon the weight of carrying around this belly really starts to wear me down. My pelvis and hips are so sore and there are times I would not be surprised if my right leg falls completely out of socket. And literally two weeks ago I was commenting on my luck of not experiencing heart burn. Well, I obviously jinxed myself and now have a lovely burning sensation in my esophagus and throat throughout the day. Thank goodness for TUMS. I am still trying to walk 3-4 days a week, but I am feeling really stagnant now and it is frustrating to not be as active as I would like. It is also a little scary to feel run down right now and then look ahead to another month. I guess there is some benefit in it though as hopefully the discomfort will begin to outweigh my nervousness regarding labor and delivery as that approaches.
Well, after that vent, onto the good news. It looks like we have found a place to live. We went to see some apartments in Concord this weekend and we found one right in the downtown area that we really liked. We filled out an application and while the landlord said there were several people who were interested, he liked us and pretty much told us we would be on the top of the list if all of our references checked out. I am supposed to talk to him this evening and I am really hopeful that we will be signing a lease this week.
Sean and I are taking a newborn care class on Wednesday that I am looking forward to, and I have my 36 week check-up on Thursday. It is definitely an exciting week.

Thinking of you! Can't believe it's almost here!
You look great! I think Baby Butterball is going to love the fact that Lily had to be in all the pictures with you. I hope the apartment works out. Love you!!!
