Zoo Day

Colorado Springs has a most fabulous zoo, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. At over 6,000 feet, it is truly a mountain zoo. Finn had a blast checking out the animals and generally running amok. The zoo also boasts having the largest captive herd of giraffes. They seem to do exceptionally well there. They allow feeding the giraffes crackers that they have at the zoo and it was a big hit with Finn.
