Josette had her 2 week check up today and she was deemed "perfect." She is weighing in at 8 lbs and 12 oz (between 50th and 75th percentile) and 21.5 inches long (between 90th and 95th percentile). Head circumference is 14 5/8 inches (between 50th and 75th percentile). All in all, she is growing well and her reflexes are great. No vaccines this time around so that was nice. We have officially switched to a nurse practitioner in the practice and I am so pleased with her. Finn went with me to the appointment and she let him use a lot of the scopes and things to help him feel a part of the whole process. Unfortunately, I didn't get to chat a lot with her about my concerns, but I think that because Josette is growing well I need to let go of some of my anxieties and just trust that we are doing okay (easier said than done).

2 weeks

I'm with you on letting go of the anxieties, much easier said then done! When things calm down a bit for you and you get a free minute (we do have those as moms, right?) give me a call. Maybe we can let go of some of them together!!! Love you!
