Why, oh why, does she cry?
Is she hungry?
Is she wet?
Is she tired?
Is she bored?
Is she overstimulated? understimulated?
Is she hot?
Does she want to be held?
Does she not want to be held?
Does her belly hurt?
Does she need to feed? Have I overfed her?
Does she have gas?
Is she in pain?
Does she need it quiet? Does she need white noise?
Does she need to be worn? Does she need a swaddle? Does she hate the swaddle?
Should I sing? Should I shush?
Should I rock? Should I bounce?
Is there too much light?
Could she use a bath to cool off?
Is she just a newborn with no explanation, or one that I will never know?
What am I doing wrong?
Why, oh why, do you cry?

Is this a Sadie original? Yes definately a mystery, but regardless she knows she is loved. Love you Sissy
Alas, not trying to be poetic, just the zillion question that run through my head when she is wailing and I haven't the foggiest notion what to do. I hate not knowing what she needs! But, thanks for the reminder that we are doing our best and she is loved.
Love it!!! I'd love to know what is going on in their minds. Em was a crier. For nine months. We now know it was because of her adenoids but oh my lord the crying. How we had two more kids after her is a miracle! :) Love you!!!
