8 Months

And with the welcome of January, Josette turned 8 months-old!  She is so busy right now and the biggest news is she is mobile!  She opts to army crawl on her belly, but can easily get across a room to whatever she is intent upon.  And, whatever she is intent upon, rest assured it is never what she is supposed to have!  She is really excited to explore and get into mischief and she is also most intrigued by whatever toys her brother is playing with, which is getting us into a whole new dynamic of the sibling relationship.  For the most part, Finn has been exceptionally patient.  We will see how it goes once she gains more speed.  She is also working a lot on pulling up.  In fact, about a week ago, I put her in her crib as a safe place while I ran out of the room.  I was gone for less than 5 minutes and she had pulled her self up on the rail.  Oops, time to lower the mattress!  It is definitely an exciting developmental time and it is wonderful to watch.
