A Proper Walking Toy

Although Finn has been enjoying the shop vac, as well as our dining chairs as support in his efforts of upright mobility, we decided it was high time to get a proper walking toy. We are happy to introduce the chomp and clack alligator push toy!

Finn checks out his new wheels:

A true assessment on anything cannot be reached until it is tasted:
And off he goes:

I thought Rach was going to pee her pants in excitement over the alligator push toy. Alligators and crocodiles are her favoritest animals so to see her Finn with them too was just too much to stand! Thanks for your words of encouragement, through my tears they made my day. I love you!!!

Love Finn's onesie!

Random question: how do you keep your hardwoods so clean with Lily...with our dogs between shedding and being dogs, its a full time job and they're still not up to par for a crawler.

Ha! I am glad the floors appear clean. I fear they are a challenge. Lily is a shedder and we all track in plenty of outdoor debris. I fear there are some days that Finn's feet and hands are pretty dirty from crawling around. The only tip I have is the swiffer. It is not very eco-friendly, but it is my one disposable luxury. You can just do a quick cover of the floor and it picks up all the dog hair. Other than that, I figure kids are just supposed to be dirty.

So glad I am not alone, thankfully its only our main level with hardwoods, but with a German "Shedder" and a Retriever we have gobs of hair at any given time. Not to mention what we bring in, like you said.

If anything, Soren is certainly an expert at locating anything I happen to miss in my quick sweeps.

By the way, I am in love with your wide plank floors.

Megan - just put Soren in this:

I am in love with the wide plank floors too. In the old part of the house they are all uneven and knotty. Some of them are probably 18 inches across!

Oops, I don't know how to post a link in comments. Just google "baby crawling mop"
