The Deerfield Fair

Our lovely town boasts the longest running fair in New England. We went to the 133rd annual Deerfield Fair today. We we supposed to go tomorrow, but the forecast is for 100% chance of rain so we decided to get our fair fix today.

Finn loved all of the animal barns. He particularly liked the horses, sheep and chickens. He was very tickled by a display of chicks:


And it wouldn't be a fair without a giant pumpkin contest:


Boy, the fair is tiring. He was going strong through the horse pull, but fell asleep before the antique tractor pull.
