4 Months!

Finn is 4 months old today! I tried to get some fun smiley photos, but every time the camera comes out he just stares at it...

His favorite thing these days is mirror time. He loves smiling and chatting to his reflection:

What is this camera device, Mom?

And, now that he is 4 months old, he is really working on sitting. He hates to lie down to play now, and insists on sitting or standing with plenty of assistance. Turns out he can sit in the laundry basket:

By the way, how is the crib transition going? We actually had our first "almost" full night in the crib, but we did have a 5 1/2 hour stretch. would love to hear what's working/not working for you...

Oh Megan, sounds like you guys are doing much better than we are! Finn's sleeping has totally regressed and we aren't even getting his 4 hour stretch anymore. I am sad to say I have been too tired to really try to work on the crib stuff. He always ends up in bed with us at 3am. Not that that helps him sleep. I am hoping I can blame the 4-month wakeful (info on kellymom.com) or maybe some early teething pains? Alas, I will post more about No-Cry Sleep solution once we figure some things out. He has a pedi appointment next week and I want to ask the doc about a lot of the things we are experiencing before implementing a lot of things. Way to go on sleep, Soren!

Well as you've read I am sure -- we could quickly regress tonight and it could have been a one night teaser. but take heart, Soren end's up in our bed every night by 4 am too and I agree, I am not sure it helps him sleep better. I just got my copy of the No-Cry Sleep solution yesterday and planned to ask our ped about what/how to implement next wk at our 2-month appt. keep your chin up -- Finn is healthy and happy and that's the ultimate goal we're after :)

Rachel says "Happy Birthday to my Finnbar and I love you". Emily says "I like you Finn, you are cute!" (They have been dying to comment!)
