Balance Bike
Finn has been in need of a new bike for awhile now, having outgrown his trike and "motorcycle." As balance bikes are all the rage right now, we decided to eschew the training wheels and get on the balance bike wagon. It is truly phenomenal how awesome the balance bike is and how quickly Finn got his balance on it. These pics and videos are from his first trip on it and you can see he quickly got the idea of pulling his feet up and coasting. He has been out on it every day, several times a day since we got it and he can practically already coast down our little side road and he is working on turning while balancing now. You can also see that Josette is eager to follow and ride with her big brother!
Finn loves the water bottle feature on the bike, often stopping to rehydrate as if he were on a century ride :)
Finn also enjoys "mountain biking" and taking off on the dirt paths in our neighbors property:

nice job with the bikes, finn and josette! noah had a balance bike and did great although not as good as finn! now that he's graduated to a pedal bike, he seems to have more trouble than when he was on the balance bike. wish i could get noah to be interested in bike riding in general - he seems more interested in swings and sandboxes.
carter, on the other hand, seems more adventurous and will be on the balance bike soon. he gets on it from time to time but his legs need to be an inch longer or so.
