Strawberry Picking Season

The first pick-your-own crop of the summer is strawberries!  They were beautiful and delicious!  The kids sampled them the entire picking time:

 We definitely got a good haul, and I still want to go back again!

 Jsette loved riding in the wagon, and Finn enjoyed trying to pull it:

 Then, he hopped in when he got tired, and they continued eating:

 Josette will take any opportunity to climb:

 And, where there are farm animals, you will find Finn:

So far we have made:

• Elegant Oven Strawberry Jam
• Strawberry Rhubarb Jam (with our home grown rhubarb!)
• Strawberry Lemon Marmalade
• Strawberry Mango Popcicles
• Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp
• Strawberry Shortcake
• And, the fruit bats just eat them by the handful at every opportunity :)
