Zoo Day

Colorado Springs has a most fabulous zoo, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. At over 6,000 feet, it is truly a mountain zoo. Finn had a blast checking out the animals and generally running amok. The zoo also boasts having the largest captive herd of giraffes. They seem to do exceptionally well there. They allow feeding the giraffes crackers that they have at the zoo and it was a big hit with Finn.

Great Friends

On Sunday, Finn and I got to visit some of my best friends in the world.

In the morning we went to Gina's and Finn played with Emily and Rachel.



In the evening, we went to Becky's and Finn played with Miles, Chloe and Paige. So may kiddos, so much fun!

More often than not, when we got up in the mornings, we could see deer on the hill out back.

Its a Party!

Okay, I am back to uploading CO vacation photos. Will try to get them all loaded and back on track with the blog.

Last Friday, we had a fun party with lots of kiddos.

Of course, Finn was running around with a bucket on his head because, well, doesn't everyone at a party?

We went over to my sister's for dinner one evening and Finn had a grand time with Colton and Zachary. I see a garage band in the making.

After the rain

One afternoon, after some thunderstorms, we went looking for some puddles. Both Finn and Cuervo had a good time splashing:
