Happy Halloween and Due Date!

Well, to end the suspense right off, I am still pregnant! Sean and I went to my 40 week appointment this morning. It was still really routine. Butterball's heart rate was great and accelerating as he moved so he is doing just fine. The midwife palpated my abdomen and said she thought he was moving into the pelvis which is a good sign I suppose. We still have a lot of the day left so who knows what could happen, yet only 8% of babies are actually born on their due date. We set up an appointment for next Wednesday for a non stress test and an exam to determine when we might need to think induction if we make it to that point. I REALLY REALLY hope induction is not necessary. I am walking a lot and eating plenty of spicy food, trying a lot of the old wives tales, but I suppose Butterball will come when he is ready. I hope he didn't inherit my procrastination gene. I will keep you posted as to what the rest of this Halloween has in store for us. I hope you have a very fun and spooky day!
