Homemade pasta

Finn loves to help in the kitchen, and I really hope it is something he will always enjoy. The other day, we tried our hand at homemade pasta. It is really fun because you mound up the flour and crack and egg in the center and stir. Finn thought it was great. It turned into a big mess, but was worth it. It came out pretty good too. Unfortunately, I don't have a roller and tried to do it by hand, which was not the best idea. I have a book that outlines this rolling and stretching technique, but still the pasta was really thick. We tried to make sage/pumpkin raviolis and they turned out looking like big perogies. They were still quite yummy. It may be worth getting a roller in the future.
