Traditional 4th Party

This Saturday we went to a 4th of July party that we have attended every year since moving to NH.  It is funny because it is the family tradition of my neighbor's husband's brother's wife's family, which we learned this weekend now includes us :) I was chatting with our neighbor's at the party and laughing a bit about how we crash so many of their family gatherings when we aren't even family, when they shrugged and said, "you are family."  How lucky are we to have such amazing neighbors!?!  We had a lovely time as always and the kiddos enjoyed the water fun.

First, Finn controlled the water flow on the makeshift tarp slip-n-slide:
