Finn and I have been keeping busy to pass the time. We have been bombarding everyone with our presence. We went over to Aunt Carrie's on Tuesday and Finn had a great time. She had an exersaucer that he got to try out. He felt like a really big boy standing up:
He also got some reading in. Libby expanded his horizons with Barbie in Swan Lake:
In just the last couple of days, Finn has improved by leaps and bounds in his sitting up unassisted:
We are off to picnic in Portsmouth today. We are in for a beautiful, record-breaking weekend at 80+ degrees. It almost seems unnatural for April, but I am embracing it.

That is the same saucer we had! Of course I had to have it because of the castle theme. He looks so big sitting up! Hope the last few days go by fast for you. I wish I could say it gets easier to have your other half gone. John leaves today and I still hate it. At least the girls are old enough to keep me really busy now! :) Love you guys.
I just love seeing the new posts...I just can't believe how much Finn has grown. He looks like he really enjoys the saucer too...he will be mobile before you know it!!
He is so focused in the saucer, I like the "cousin" crawling underneath him in one of the shots :)
Where did you get Finn's shoes?
Finn's shoes are robeez. They are just soft leather and mold to the feet really well. We got them at a local shoe shop, but I think you could find them at any shoe place. I think they are all the rage now. They are great. When he was little, they were nice to just keep socks on and give him another layer. Now they are really nice that he is enjoying standing up and we are hanging outside more. The company makes a ton of different types with cute characters on them. It was tough to decide which ones to get, but had to go with dogs. They were sized 0-6 months and he still has a bit of growing room. Soren would love a pair!
